it's fair to think AD is DPoY, i definitely wouldn't be against that
my argument for green over davis is that i feel people are infatuated with davis's block numbers, but that doesn't define a great defensive player. pau gasol is average 2.2 blocks per game, which is a good number, but he still STINKS on defense this year. anthony davis is a GREAT defensive player, but i'm not going to get consumed by his block numbers. GS is the best defense in the NBA as they hold teams to the lowest shooting percentage (true indicator of defense) and that's been with bogut on the bench for the most part. none of this would of been possible without green, who can defend both guards and forwards. although AD is a defensive juggernaut, the pelicans are still a bottom tier defense as an unit

While I agree people just look at numbers and formulate an opinion around it, the Warriors also play great team defense as a whole. Green has been stellar but the Warriors would still be a great team and a above average defense if he didn't play.
On the other hand, I can say without a reasonable doubt that the Pelicans wouldn't be above .500 without Anthony Davis and he easily is the biggest reason both offensively and defensively.
King James and crew are violating the Clippers right now. Shooting 61% from the field as a team. Life is good. Love seeing JR Smith and Shumpert in the squad.
I think Mozgov was also a good pickup for them since they lost Varejao.
Dubs/Hawks should be a great matchup tonight, gonna clear my schedule for this one
lmao. that it was. Curry went off. Motherfucker makes the NBA look like a video game.

A big part of what makes GS's defense so good is how many of their wings can guard multiple positions and switch with no issue.
Probably market size.If the NFL can flex games, the NBA should certainly do the same.
Dubs-Hawks has been on the media radar for weeks now; it's a shame ESPN and the NBA couldn't have worked something out. Oh well!
The Raptors/Clippers game was definitely flexed into that timeslot and ESPN. I'm guessing it happened before the Hawks went on there huge run and the Raptors were still the 1 seed in the east.
Also. Brow/Westbrook were freaking insane last night.
The Lakers are obviously hurting without Kobe, Randall and crew, but I like the work that their young PG Clarkson is putting in. Been watching him this season, and think he's got a bright future regardless of the inevitable struggles in LA. He's got his career high in scoring today. Honestly I'd rather see him start over that care bear Jeremy Lin.
Cavaliers are going off right now. Lebron and Kyrie didn't shoot for the entire 2nd quarter so Kevin Love could keep his hot streak going. Seems like he's getting on track after the recent criticism and not being selected as an All-Star. He's got five three pointers so far today with a lot of time left to play.
P.S. - Props to Lillard on finally making the All Star game.
i didn't watch this game, but i've watched a bunch of cavs games recently and during this stretch they've looked good. ball movement has been great and the additions of mozgov, JR smith, and shumpert shouldn't be understated. they still haven't figured out how to use kevin love correctly (rarely does he get touched in the post), but that offense seems to be clicking
