ok well i think the rockets would be awful too, except they are actually in the playoffs with the 3rd seed with harden while the pelicans are in the 9th seed with AD

We're not gonna see eye to eye on this. The Rockets have a serious squad IMO. Jack from Brooklyn just popped the game winner in Curry's face. Nice.

You guys are having this conversation and somehow Smuttny hasn't thought to bring up that the Cavaliers were 1-8 during the stretch that Lebron James was out.

A team of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love would only make the playoffs in the East because the East is trash. Same goes for Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh with no Lebron. Either of those teams in the West would get annihilated. If your argument is saying which team would be worse off without their respective superstar the answer is still the Cavaliers. Lebron James is more important than any other player, no matter what team he plays for, end of discussion.

lol yeah, i strongly dislike skip. i think he says controversial shit on purpose just to piss people off, but i guess that's how he makes his money

i just don't have an argument against lebron winning MVP, but i also don't have an argument against harden winning it either. this will be the closes it's been in years, we haven't even talked about steph curry as a candidate either

Why did we have to use Skip as a response to that. -_- I comment here like once a week maybe nowadays and this is what I come back to haha.

there's no way steve kerr doesn't get coach of the year. but yeah, Curry is definitely in the discussion.

I think houston has a really well rounded team, even without DHoward imo.  but Harden does create a lot of opportunities and take a game over.

Also feels weird how Westbrook is also in the race instead of Durant

Using the "how good would a team be without someone, and having someone else in their place" argument is kind of stupid imo, we'd never know. It's all hypothetical. My votes for Curry, I might be biased, whatever. He's a better facilitator and defender than Harden. Also he's the best shooter in the league. I'd probably put Westbrook and LBJ ahead of Harden by the end of the season.

i think bud easily wins coach of the year

steph has way more to work with than harden

Because he makes his team better :P
Houston is putting up a fight @ Atlanta without Harden or Howard. Where you at Moose?
j smoove and jason terry are playing well and same with terrence jones, but i'm not going to over react to one game lol
Hey yo wasn't that the point though? They have other guys who can play well and make them a capable team. I know it's one game but still, this is a hell of a one game sample size considering it's arguably the best team in basketball and none of their starters are sitting.

hey man come on, you follow sports just as much as i do. you know not to overreact to one game. thats the one rule

that team was still good when its bench was bare (no corey brewer or josh smith) and it was because of harden

i wouldn't be saying this if the cavaliers beat a team without lebron for one game

I was just messing around. Calm down.

I did think of it, and agree with you. Alas, the King has so many haters. I expected some slanderous diatribe. Would rather not hear it. He's the MVP imo. Skip Bayless should be banned from all of sports. He's a bigger bottom bitch than anyone on television.

Holy Westbrook.
GOAT
westbrook is a man playing amongst boys right now

That play Chicago just ran out of bounds to gain the lead was fucking beautiful.

edit: and then Brooks draws up that piece of shit LOL.

The fact that Scotty Brooks still has a job is astounding. I have never seen a clearer case of a coach blatantly holding a team back. They have two players who can singularly make arguments as a top 3 player in the league when they are on, A incredibly solid supporting cast, and a great rim protector and still can't go all the way. It's incredible.

Clutch fucking performance by Moore. Damn. That kid was just what they needed off the bench with Rose and Butler gone. Mirotic couldn't have shown up at a better time also. Chicago just has so much fight in them. All that aside, Westbrook continues to look like he's one of the Monstars from Space Jam. Unbelievable.
The Hawks should wear their retro jerseys from the Nique era  all the time.  So much cleaner looking than their regular ones.

Lebron's nine turnovers hurt to watch. At least we only lose to top teams as of recent. Everybody knows the Hawks are juggernauts this year, especially at home.

C'mon Curry, that was fucking ridiculous...

i actually started screaming, i was speechless

i just realized what a paradox that was lol

This is the Livingston I thought we signed.

One of the most ill-advised shots I've ever seen.

Also one of the dopest.

Steph showing off again tonight.
With or without Rondo, Mavs ain't beating my Cavs. Monte Ellis trying to do hail mary 360 layups. FOH.
Didn't watch the game but holy cow Kyrie just pulled a Jordan against the spurs

Best game I have ever watched. Hands down. Felt better than Ray Allen's immaculate shot in Game 6 of the Finals. This was poetry in motion. I almost shut it off when we were down by 9 with a minute left. Absolutely the craziest game I have ever had the fortune of watching while it was happening.

Go to sleep San Antonio. Kyrie Irving aka "Uncle Drew" aka Tony Parker's biological father. My Cavs got you fucking sick in overtime, at your stadium. Just cemented this rivalry for the playoffs. I can't wait to see us silence their crowd again.

P.S. - Going to see the Raptors vs the Heat tonight at the Air Canada Centre. Best tickets I've ever had to an NBA game. i r excite.
