i feel like this album will split the hip-hop/rap community
i've enjoyed it so far, but it wouldn't surprise me if people did not like it. this isn't an album where you can play the songs in your car with your boys and jam out. most of these songs require serious focus and concentration as you have to pay attention to basically every lyric to understand what is going on. this is the type of rap i like, but it could be too much for people
i personally liked GKMC more just because it was more fun, but also deep at the same time. this album is still great and definitely the deepest rap album i can remember, but it just doesn't have that "fun" factor, which is fine but still
I really like How Much a Diamond Cost and Wesleys Theory.
Like about 6-7 other songs and dislike the rest. Some vocals are really unnecessary in this album. I really dislike the 2nd half of u, alright, and you ain't gotta lie. The album also seems too long for me. He should have cut a couple tracks out imo.
Pretty good album though, don't think I'd go out of my way to see him live, especially after his performance that I saw in 2013 that was so awful.

Apparently his live shows are much better now. He spent some time with Kanye or something and he had a big influence on changing his performances. Think I read that he has bad asthma as well which was an issue for performing live.
Anyways I'm liking the album a ton. Couple songs I don't really care for but most of them are gold. Lyrics in U are ridic, especially the second half.

I'm from the Bronx in NY but I live out in Lawrence in MA right now. He's only done shows in NY, NJ, CA, Miami, and up next is SXSW in Austin I believe. He's from NJ.
If I had the money on me to pick up a 100 pack of xanax I'd be takin the bus to NY for a show on the 24th but I'm broke boyz for another week or two after splurging on clothes last week and food/drugs this week.
