The bigger issue here is that you used this time to attack/insult someone on a personal level because of your opposing view of that person's opinion (over something as meaningless as a video game mind you (lol)) instead of simply sharing your views and pointing out why you dislike their comment(s).

I actually agree with Strangestick, you shouldn't put the game down on that level before giving your praise.
There are plenty of people here who has invested uncountable amounts of hours into the game, and even though you don't like it, it's not a terrible game. Hyena is a golden example of how far we can go with being creative and thinking outside the box in a game like Halo (any Halo, not just 3), and your comment is kind of like a punch in the face to anyone who even dared to spend the time to figure the games in's and out's out. There is a different level of complexity to Halo 3 that a lot of people don't like to see, and therefore completely ignore, and I'm personally sick of seeing it being put down for not having the exact same values as the previous Halos.
I studied everything that Halo 3 had to offer back in 2009, and seeing how far I've come I do not regret any of the time I've spent over the past 7+ years of playing, embracing and loving it. It doesn't have the simple charm that CE has, or the glitches that Halo 2 offered, but it has it's own set of glitches, it has it's own charm, and it most certainly has it's own complexity and personality.
holy god that was an experience to say the least, man. the dedication in your play-style to try all things innovative is an inspiration. for the first time in god knows how long, i actually kinda feel like playing halo 3. at some points the editing was a little choppy and rough, and at other times the style really, really worked. very impressive regardless and im sorry to hear that it'll be the last one we see from you. you have no plans to release an MCC video?

I honestly see your post as way more of an attack - on anyone on this forum who has invested time into making Halo 3 content, which is actually a large percentage of the forum. Besides, your post was abrasive for the precise reason that you presented your opinion as a fact, so referring back to your post as merely an opinion is a bit disingenuous. You maybe don't realise it because you feel validated in your opinion, but the way you come off is really insulting, for the reasons Marksman clarified.
If you thought my post was insulting/personal, then I'm sorry. It certainly wasn't supposed to come off that way. I wrote it because I was annoyed with your tone, and I even edited it a few times to make it less personal, for the precise reason that I would copy and post the same response to anyone who made a comment like yours.
Let's agree to disagree, and leave Hyena's thread open for future and well deserved arse kissing.
