Hey.  You don't know me, probably, but I used to frequent this place waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the days of calling this place H2F.  This place was my haven for great montages, funny lobby conversations, and intense religious debates.  And when I say frequent, I don't mean lurk...I was pretty freakin' active.  We even had a crew of us meet up at MLG Dallas in like 2007?  Great times.

Obviously, a lot has changed in...oh...7 years?  Pretty crazy that a kid could have hit 2nd grade in my absence.  Anyway...I don't really know that I'm "back" per se...but I do remember this place very fondly, and I'd like to reconnect.  I'll do the list of names that I remember off hand in a second, but I'm curious...Nv1ncible doesn't sound like "Z" at all.  I guess the site was sold to someone else?  That...or he changed his name.

So...with that...I'm going to try and see how many names I remember, and see how many of these people are still attached to this place in some capacity.  Of course, some people may not be remembered by anyone 7 years later...however...I see names at the bottom that are still familiar like Llama, Doodlepop, and KSP89.  So I *KNOW* that someone should be able to help me locate some of these fools if they still exist on here.  Let's get started:

Aaaaaand I know there's like 15-20 more that I can't think of off the top of my head because it's been so long.  But anyone that was on the Montage Council or in The Exclusives from back then will remember me this way:

I kinda miss you guys, and I wanna know how everyone is.  (If we're all still alive.)

 

This was before "tl;dr" was a thing.

Sup dude. Most of the people you've listed haven't been around for years. MsTk is still around but that's pretty much it. Is Scotty Scott? I don't remember. If so, he's kind of around too. Nv1 bought the site from Z, so he's no longer in the picture. My username used to be Qu4dra but I was a little kid back then so I don't recognize your name nor did I form too many relationships. A few, but not many. Anyway, welcome back. Or at least thanks for stopping by.

Qu4dra?  Nice.  I remember the name, but I don't think we were enemies or anything.  Glad to see some of the old guard is still around.  (Scotty = English...so if so, then yes, probably him.)

Kudos on coming back to the site.  Half of those people will still post here every now and then, but the other half have pretty much dissapeared.

BSiK made a CE montage for our contest last year, placed really well too. Don Miguel and Ball3s still rock CE in the Master Chief Collection as far as I'm concerned, they're also around here somewhere.

Yeah...I definitely didn't mean to break the thread with the orange text, but that was the old habit that was engrained in my posting habits.  Guess it's a goner now...
Also, that last line of text was orange because that was how the Montage Council was labeled back in the day.  I liked "montage council orange."  But since I can't edit the HTML anymore, we'll let it die with the old site.

Thanks for the updates on folks.  I'll do some browsing and see who I can find.

Sad to hear about Elmo.  Though I never understood why he hated a lot of people (including me), he was still people, and he brought a lot of character to the discussions.  I'll pour one out tonight for him.  RIP

Hahaha...conscripted...but weren't you a mod for like 2 weeks back then, too?  Then you suddenly weren't one day and you went from rockin' the red to rockin' the pink strike-through for like a month straight.  The exclusives all had to flood Z's inbox to free your username or something.  You and J3W both had ban problems, as I recall.  We should get Nv1ncible to pull Z's posting & inbox history for 2005-2006.  There would be some golden nuggets in there, for sure.

My forum name was always just Scott :p

Pretty good man, yourself? I've grown up a lot in the last few years, I was a completely hopeless nerd back in the early days of the forum but now I'm doing well with the whole job and relationship thing.
