Amity |Halo MCC Montage| - Edited by RT Craze

After 3 long years the local group of the 801 got together and made another montage.

Amity "A Friendly Relationship." These montages that we create, we know that we may not have the greatest clips, but we do it because it represents something that we love. Something that has bound us all together for 14 years.

I'd personally like to throw out a thank you to RT Craze for helping us after we lost our first editor and for doing such a great job.

The fast paced song choice and variety in different games gave this montage a unique vibe, I liked that. Also the transition at 3:51 looked very well done.

I enjoyed the pace of the video - It felt like a fragvid. I always like when an editor cycles through a lot of clips without any distracting stuff getting in the way.  Gameplay looked pretty solid from all the games aside from the clean-up h2a stuff and some of the CE. <3 Mongrel & Nokt.

As ^^ have said, I love a good fast paced tage from time to time, and this was definitely one of them! Great job guys

Thanks man, Craze definitely went out of his way to make transitions and angles for us because almost everything was recorded through xboxDVR so we had no games saved to go back and create them.

Originally I told Craze just to do one song with the best clips and get it nice and tidy. He insisted on doing more and getting more clips in. I think it worked out better in the end.

That was fuckin weird. Not bad, sweet actually... but it hurt my head switching games at that pace with the music, lmao.

Yeah, we toyed around with doing just classic Halo games and then just a straight H2A since we were playing a ton of that and competing in local tournaments. But the clip quality/size was never there for what we wanted to get in. H3 was a last minute addition on our end because we had some old 360 clips we wanted to use.

I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

Ive already got a name, a song, and some clips for our next one.

Problem is and what has been a problem is we all fall out of halo as soon as we put one of these out. I'm the only one grinding at this point. I'm undecided if I want to do H5 or H2/CE montage solo. Guess only time will tell.

Definitely didn't feel like 7 and a half minutes. Nice job! I liked the minimal use of cinematics and blistering pace. I wasn't counting but I imagine you must've run through 50-60 clips. I kinda viewed this more as just a compilation rather than a typical montage, which is super cool to see. Nice job on tearing up on the MCC

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I think I submitted 70 clips with about 15 of them being filler clips that were there just in case we couldn't find something to sync up or whatever the reason.

Great fucking vid, loved the hyper-kinetic style of editing in this, don't see enough if it nowadays, some great gameplay and also fantastic angles, great work

glad to see most people like it, took me some time to edit it and its great to see it payoff.  did just wanna say thanks to the guys for being patient with me because it did take me a bit longer than expected to Finish.

I was diggin the motions in this, good edit but I didnt like the coloring. It just seemed kinda bland, but overall still entertaining. Clips were pretty dope, keep it goin

Any part in particular or just overall in general? I've had people say the game audio was a little low, but everything else sounds fine to me.

I don't think there was any color correction or at least not a ton of it. It would be hard to be consistent on it over 4 different games. Thanks for the kind words though!
