In another news, Jaden Smith dropped a project called This Is The Album. Only three songs long, two are kinda for the bitches. He spits on one track called Scarface though, was impressed considering it was Jaden Smith and never heard any of his previous work if he has some.

Eminem & Kendrick just destroyed the Rap Section of the GRAMMY'S

Kendrick - "i" for Best Rap Song/Rap Performance

Eminem - "Monster" for Best Rap/Sung Collab - "MMLP2" for Best Rap Album

CAN'T BEAT WHITE ANUBIS WHEN HE'S NOMINATED

MM LP 2 didn't deserve the Best Rap Album with Q and Gambino up there as options. One of the worst Em albums. At least Iggy didn't win though.

Another RetcH track that doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Bino was interesting but holds little replay value to me

Quincy's tape was fucking dope, but we all knew he wouldn't win

Igloo Australia vs. The White Anubis - all the way imo (everyone's thoughts since the Nominations were released)

YG400 should've been at least nominated. Fucking sus that MKL wasn't

Gambino is thoroughly terrible.
None of those choices were even close to RTJ2, Gambino is utter trash as well.
For the choices given, ScHoolboy Q or Childish Gambino should've won. MMLP2 was trash.

Kanye almost pulls another tswift moment @The GRAMMY'S

Beck ima let... nahh I'll go sit back down

Beyonce > Beck. Fuck beck

Beck winning is better than Sam Smith sweeping the grammys. Morning Phase was a great album and so was Beyonce.
who the fuck is beck tbh

I feel like you have to be living under a rock to not know who Beck is, but here is probably his most popular song.

Good for Beck, was sick of seeing all the "SLAY THE GRAMMY'S BEY" tweets on my timeline so it was hilarious seeing all her fans devastated afterwards.
Beck's record was pretty unremarkable for real though.

Yeah there was definitely better albums last year, however his and beyonce's album were definitely the best out of those nominations.

I really hate these top 40 worshiping suckers talking like they know music. Granted Beck's album wasn't especially exciting, it was very good at being what it was and it was his work unto himself. Tbh I really like Kanye but at this point watching him go after any artist that isn't hip hop when they win a major award is annoying as hell and shows a blatant bias. When Macklemore beat Kendrick last year, sure be fucking pissed because GKMC was on an entirely different level than The Heist. Heavily realistic narrative style album vs a bunch of social issues thrown around at random isn't even a fucking contest in my eyes. This was more of a decision based on just musicality and unless you're on some fucking DJ Abilities or RTJ shit, hip hop beats can't stack up against more intricate melodies in terms of musicality. There's stuff that's up there but it's too fringe to really be brought into the spotlight.
Checkout Thelonious Martin if you're lookin for fresh ass rap/hip-hop beats. Man is a genius.
