Why are you here?
I think most of us came for Halo and just got over it as time went on. I originally joined because I played Halo and wanted people to play with, etc, though most of my activity was still in CoT to get to know the community.
Now I come out of habit, to see Mstk's body progress, pm's sassy comments and to vent on the occasion that I need to.
i originally came to watch halo montages and try my best to edit as well. from rs shook on3 edits to zola, phurion, qsk king and tm22 ive always loved learning editing techniques from them.
now i basically went crazy and talk about batshit theories. like, 9/11 wasn't taken out by pancakes from ihop...

You're the best m8, never leave.
Initially I was on High Impact Halo because I was part of the glitching / tricking scene. Saw a H2F logo in the intro of some video, so I thought I would check this place out. I joined for Halo, obviously, but as time went on, most of my time was spent trolling CoT, getting banned, and having a great time with people. As Halo started to die off after Halo 3, I stopped caring about the Halo subs almost entirely and just stuck to CoT because of the relationships I had made over the years. Eventually, because of all the drama with Z and the future of the forum, it became a collective effort for the CoT fam to ride this bitch into the ground until it 404s. After over a decade, this site is the only thing still standing from my adolescent / teenage era. Everything else has moved on, including Halo and 99% of the people who made this forum what it was when it was in its prime. There's just too many memories here. I'll tear up when they finally pull the plug.
I've met with people from here, I've lived with people from here, I've looked up to and learned a lot from the users here. I pretty much grew up on this site so I've used the forum to fuel a variety of interests other than halo.
I rarely post on CoT since I've realized I usually don't have any progressive input, but I do enjoy it from a lurking standpoint these days.
Pop in. Have a read. Laugh a bit. It's a piece of "nostalgia" that I don't think will ever die because this place is pretty unique among forums.
joined cuz I was a 15 year old kid who wanted to become a famous montager like kampy and was convinced I could do so.
still here cuz I want to be a famous monta... nah, still love playing H2V, trying to promote it whenever it's worth promoting, making videos, watching videos etc...
but most of all, I know I can visit this place at any moment for some hilarious trashtalking/drama bullshit that cracks me up every time;
Hable put it the best way possible.
This actually might be one of the first times I have ever even posted in off topic, I am not sure though.
Also I was only like 12 or 13 and wanted to find people to play H2 with, and ended up I found a lot of long time friends on here who I still talk to on occasions.
