Trevx64's Halo 3 MCC Montage 1

Such a fun watch, very creative! Left me in awe.

Nope, that's someone else. Not sure where he went. (Where did Trev go?)

Videos like this tend to be on the lower end of what I enjoy but for whatever reason I had a blast from start to finish, great video, homie.
Good montage, but its even better made by the fact that theres a drought of montages
That was incredible. I played that game for way too many years and had no clue some of those tricks were possible, let alone getting actual clips from them! Way too many good ones in there but a few that really stood out were the stick on assembly through the camo chute, orbital out of map, construct sword-glass thing, and the blackout stick. Seriously, it would have taken me a year just to jump down there haha.

Glad you appreciated the assembly stick, that was probably the most annoying clip to get, the spot isn't hard to get to but it took me forever to get the stick.

How many times did it bounce off the inside of the pipe?

Only 2 or 3, that's the main reason I didn't want Shaun to show any angles of the nade, it made it look not as nice and plus the angle is kind of crammed in that tube and messy looking :P The plasma will get stuck at the lip of the tube near camo sometimes too and it seemed like whenever I went up there nobody would ever go by hammer. I had my boy Shark Charge baiting though :) You can also throw a plasma outside the top of the camo room and potentially stick someone as well, I was trying to focus on more of a combination of skill and luck so that wasn't anything I felt like trying.

great video

editing was nice too

really enjoyed it

now the things that bothered me

first minute or so was really erratic and annoying to follow for me, i understood what was going on but I swear i was starting to get anxious from the pacing

a few clips were not very original but the ones that were I really enjoyed ,  one other thing that bothered me was how some stuff seemed forced ...maybe thats not the right word but that jump sequence then like a minute later you get a sword killtac on blackout was pretty lame

i guess i like where the kill and the trick correlate and are not just two separate things that happened

keep it up ! wanna see more from you for sure :)

It was 8 seconds later and I thought it was better than an assassination I got right after the jump because I picked up the sword that fell right where I landed and got the killtac with it. And yeah some clips I would have replaced with more original ones I have now, but I didn't want to be a jerk and tell Shaun to cut clips that I gave him the ok to use. These would probably include the last resort tree snipe, the construct launch assassination into spawn assassination, the construct grenade/bruteshot jump to assassination (maybe if I wanted to make it my own I could launch with bruteshot and powerdrain instead), and the cone launch snipes. My intentions for the montage weren't all creativity, I was trying to more or less get clips that showed how beautiful of a game H3 is and how many different and crazy things that are possible. I always have this vision that in like 100-200 years there will be Gaming History classes in school that will show montages to teach about a game :D. Halo would be one of those games they would show people because it revolutionized online gaming and first person shooters on consoles. You can never get these kinds of clips in the new Halo's because they don't put nearly as much detail and love into the game as they used to. I haven't been motivated to play recently, I'm still debating putting up all my clips ideas and challenging people to get them and submit them to me and then have someone edit them and make a community montage that way, but idk.
