NBA Discussion Thread
I'm having a difficult time picking the south bracket portion. I'm going with Duke, but the south seems so weak too me. I feel like Zags and Duke will choke. I think it's going to be the most intriguing bracket because of that though, I could see a cinderella winning it.
Also can't decide on my upset picks, I don't think there's going to be that many this year as people would think. My possible upset teams are Buffalo, East Washington, Wofford, Albany, SF Austin and I guess Texas. Doubt many will happen though.
Edit: Also, this forum is too dead for a college thread, let's just change the title to Basketball thread, and Football thread.
ISU is a good pick to come out of the south. I've been switching between them and the Zags because I am pretty confident that Duke is going to get upset by either SDSU or Utah.
Don't forget to not go too chalk everyone. There hasn't been year that a 3 seed or lower Hasn't made the Finals since 2011 so if you are stacking your finals with 1v1 or 1v2 results you are going to miss badly.

It's bad for everyone man. If you can really look back at your bracket and say "Man I knew that two 14 seeds were gonna win today" then sure, but I really doubt anyone was thinking that who was taking this thing seriously. Anyone who did definitely did the full 10 brackets on ESPN and probably more on other sites.
In other news, my friends are having a breakdown and my bracket is still really solid. Feeling good right now.
I had a feeling. Really didn't like Baylor and I knew Georgia State was an under rated team heading in. It took one hell of a run but I knew I could count on Baylor to blow it more than anything else.
Also, I am a person who literally does not factor in most stats or performances that happened before the tournament starts because the teams you saw before the tourney begins are not the same teams you are going to see on the biggest stage. Some players will thrive in the spotlight and others will crumble. You just need to be lucky enough to identify which is which. It's hard for people who watch College Basketball often to separate themselves from statistics and realize that these kids are not a bunch of robots who are going to do exactly what those statistics say.
